Explanations
Being able to dodge brings another dimension of gameplay.
Casting spells, shooting arrows now require abilities especially for moving targets. Melee character can finally get a change to reach the opponent.
Skill matters more than ever
A dodge mod is recommended, even if you can avoid projectiles just by moving. Best dodge mod imo, is the Ultimate Dodge Mod and its new animations.
To enable the trails and allow easier arrow spotting, download Woosh.
If you use Apocalypse, you get a patch and a better version of the mod lucky you
The mod was thought as a module to the forthcoming Dark Souls Combat Overhaul but can be used without it, and still be a great improvement.

All projectiles by 3 to allow you to dodge them. Also cuts down arrows gravity by 3 for them to follow the same path as vanilla. You can easily make modifications, it's just esp changes.
