Update. It's probably okay according to this.

This is a custom texture of the world map with the icons removed.
I did not like knowing where major locations are before I even discovered them, so I removed them.

This would be a good alternative if you would like to avoid spoilers or enjoy exploring and discovering locations naturally.
I have tried to be as accurate as possible while editing this map.
If roads, tracks, landmarks are slightly off I will to my best to fix them in an update.

Please provide your feedback/bugs/improvement suggestions in the comments.

You will need to provide you own tool to add the textures to the game such as Baka File Tool
Or you can do it yourself manually by

1. make a backup of the Fallout76\Data\SeventySix - Textures05.ba2 archive
2. extract the archive to view the files. You will need a program such as B.A.E
3. replace the papermap_city_d.dds file with this one
4. re-pack the archive
