Flashback to the summer of 2017: Tarot Queen finally gets a non-potato computer. She decides to get Skyrim Special Edition for it after being stuck on the non-DLC PS3 version for five years. When she finally goes into the DLCs completely blind, she discovers one of them revolves around Hermaeus Mora, her favorite daedric prince. Fangirling intensifies. However, things go south when she learns the Conjure Seeker spell and finds it doesn't work with the Conjuration skill tree.
This mod is the remedy to that problem. Most of the mods that I've found that claim to fix this are bugged out with no hope of being fixed in the future, or they add a bunch of things to the game that make it too complicated for my liking. With this in mind, I sat down and made my own. This mod fixes the Conjure Seeker spell so it 100% works with the Conjuration skill tree. And not just Twin Souls; it works with Atromancy and Elemental Potency as well. The Conjure Ash Spawn spell has also been given the same treatment. As for the Ash Guardian spell, it works like a rune, so I left it the way it is. Only one rune at a time!
That's not all this mod does. I added a Conjure Lurker spell that also works with the Conjuration skill tree. I went and hand-placed the Conjure Lurker tome in Apocrypha. Wherever there's a Seeker tome, there's a Lurker tome as well. Since the Lurker spell is an expert spell, it should start popping up in Apocrypha around a Conjuration level of 65, but if you don't want to wait that long, the item code is 'xx014f84'. A word of caution: the Lurkers are HUGE. They're the same size as giants and mammoths. Be mindful where you summon them. If you summon them in a tight space, it may not work.
How did I get this to work? The solution is extremely simple. Keywords. Basically, I made the Seeker and Lurker work like a Frost Atronach and Storm Atronach respectively. How did nobody figure that out sooner? I have no idea. The potent versions of the Seeker and Lurker are the Seeker Aspirant and Lurker Guardian. I didn't want to use any variant higher in level cause I care about making things fair and balanced. Also, the potent Ash Spawn is obviously a higher level one.
This mod uses little to no scripts, so it should be compatible with anything. Well, except any other mods that alter the Dragonborn spells in any way. Installing and uninstalling is as simple as adding and deleting the .esp file. Put it somewhere in the bottom of your load order, or wherever LOOT tells you to put it.
