Description - This mod makes simple changes to game settings, it uses no scripts and is dependent on nothing other than the vanilla game, with Hearthfires enabled (for the Realistic Merchant Prices and Gold plugin or the main Hardcore Economy for Skyrim SE plugin)
Its nothing complicated and is meant for those who don't know how to change the settings for themselves. It changes the barter settings min and max, the amount of gold vendors have in their pools, and rewards for some basic quests and bounties.

I like to play a hardcore style play through, you know not being rich enough to own all 9 holds by the time i'm level 30, LOL. In my oldrim days I used
Trade and Barter by kryptopyr
Gold Adjustment by kuertee
and Reduced Gold Rewards for Quests by mjharper

Those mods haven't been ported (that I know of) and probably never will. Also in my oldrim days I ran my game about as script heavy as you possibly could, very stable but on the edge. So when I decided to finally give SE a try, I really liked the new engine, and decided to start playing again. With that I went looking for mods that would tone down the "here have enough gold in one quest run to retire" mentality of the game. I couldn't find anything other than a few fBarterMin and fBarterMax changing mods. This still didn't help with all the gold that was being handed to me. I considered porting the three mods above that I used in oldrim, for myself. However I thought, I want to try to keep my game as lightweight as possible and that meant changes without the use of scripts and no dependability on anything other than the game its self.

For a little more hardcore try it with a mod that gives you realistic encumbrance, I use this one (its really good, but you will have to convert it yourself) This mod will keep you in check on what you decide to try to carry back and sell.

These mods cause you to have to spend gold for the things they make necessary. Kind of an immersive, hardcore, role play, play through.

My mod makes gold harder to get. You'll find less gold in coin purses, you'll get less gold for random bounties and quests. Merchants have less gold in their pools, charge more for their items and pay less for yours (kind of like real life lol, this keeps your character from carrying everything in skyrim back to your favorite merchant and selling it off for major amounts of gold, because they simply don't have the gold to give).

Directions - Installation - Use your preferred mod manager to install and activate the esp - allow 48 hours in game for changes to take effect.
Uninstallation - Use your preferred mod manager to uninstall and make sure the esp is removed - allow 48 hours in game for changes to take effect.

Compatibility - should be compatible with everything just load it last in your load order. If you have another mod that changes these settings, of course they will conflict. Just load which ever mod you want to win the conflict last.

Exceptions - If you have a mod that changes these settings via a script (dynamically) it will overwrite this mods changes no matter the load order.

I would like to thank all of the mod authors listed above for their amazing mods, because without them my mod wouldn't be needed.

I know there are mods for special edition that do more than this one, but I made this one so it would work with anything and not cause problems, it is just game setting changes, and I know there are mods that do less than this one. That's why I made this.

Hardcore Economy for Skyrim SE - This one is simply an all in one of the other 3 files. It includes everything and is all you need.
Less Coin Purse Gold - This one is the coin purse changes only
Realistic Merchant Prices and Gold - This one is the fBarterMin, fBarterMax, and gold pool changes only
Reduced Quest Gold Rewards - This one is the quests gold reductions only
