This mod package is s script replacer for the Spell Research Patch Compendium by LordOfDragons01, assigning archetypes for the new spells from Arcanum's Illusion update. It piggybacks off of the original patch's plugin - just re-import your spells to assign the new archetypes after installation. And unlike the original patch set, I've made my archetype choices public in the optional downloads section (which means spoilers, if you'd prefer they remain a mystery during gameplay).
Reformulated Spells
Reformulated tomes, which are normally crafted at the arcane escritoire from a mixture of simpler spells' tomes and a few secondary ingredients, cannot be crafted from common ink and paper via Spell Research's system, even if you've already learned the spell by legitimate means. This means you'll still need to revisit the escritoire should you need another tome to teach reformulated spells to your followers with a framework like NFF, and avoids the economic damage of mass-produced reformulated tomes. You can, however, perform research on the reformulated spells you know to learn more about spell archetypes - for example, studying Sunlight Spear will teach you more about spells associated with shock and the sun.
