Advanced Combat expands on battle mechanics, causing combat to be more tactical and visceral.
- Combo: Consecutive unblocked attacks do an additive 5% additional damage, decaying after 10 seconds. This means attacking once every second will allow you to deal up to 50% additional damage.
- Parrying: Clash weapons to mitigate damage. Not as effective as a block, but better than taking a hit.
- High Block: Blocking is briefly 50% more powerful upon starting a block, but no more than once every two seconds. Characters who strike a High Block are stunned.
- Stuns: Power-attacking an opponent causes a stun, but so does being struck while performing a power-attack.
- Attacks of Opportunity: Stunned opponents take increased damage.
