Tired of forging that perfect piece of armour, only to need to exit the basement, go through a loading screen, climb some stairs and wander over to an enchanter? What if you could enchant your pieces in the convenient place - directly by the fires that forged them.
Convenient Hearthfire Majicks extends the vanilla BYOH system to include alchemy and enchanting directly in the main basement. The mod removes that useless back shelf of sacks and instead sites functional alchemy and enchanting stations, along with a strong box for your soul gems and a satchel for your alchemy ingredients. Because this is vanilla BYOH-style, you will need to craft the stations and also the containers to go with them.
The aim here was to keep things as vanilla as possible, so your basement will keep that vanilla feel. Minor modifications to the shelves have been made, and your forge's fire will now reflect light into the shelves making it possible to see what you're working with. The end table is now an end set of drawers, and tools have been sensible relocated to a wooden crate just under the weapons plaque.
This mod is for the player that likes the vanilla homes, wants to keep a vanilla feel, but is tired of rushing up and down ladders and, stairs while staring at loading screens in-between. Note that this works best with a new game, though I have seen it work if you aren't near a Hearthfire home in your existing save. See the articles page about inserting into a currently running game (at your own risk...).
