When I played Oldrim, there was a mod called Spells Will Give Off Light that did exactly the same, but it is no longer functional today.After I understood what the mod with the game files, I decided to make this version for Skyrim SE.There is another mod (SJG) Lights On - Spells Emit Light made by Skeleton Jack / EverWatch for Skyrim SE as well, but some spells are not working, like some Shock, Illusion and Alteration spells. Due to Casting Art's .NIF animations, they don't seem to work very well with the light parameters.

What does ~ Colorful Lights for Spells ~ ?

When holding a spell, it adds lighting around your character, like a torch.I had to change the animations of the spells in hand for the mod to work correctly and as a bonus, I changed the colors of the shock spell (thanks JustAnotherRandomDovahkiin), but that's okay, it was a much better color :DPlease report if you find some spells with problem, I will try to resolve alL

F.A.Q

Does this mod replace ENB Light or ENB Particles?
No, ENB Light adds more interesting light sources for torches, insects, smoke, dragon fire, enchantments, some details that make the game very beautiful and interesting, just as ENB Particle works very well by adding light sources in particle many things.
Colorful Lights for Spells, is just a complement to spells, adding a light source for when you're walking around Tamriel without a torch.

Why this mod if similar ones already exist?
Some incompatibilities with some spells, make it functional only in Third Person and personally, I prefer to play Skyrim in first person, after understanding that this is due to some animations of the spells in hand, which for some reason beyond the most distant place of Oblivion, Casting Art does not allow light to be emitted correctly, so I was looking for a way to change the animations, allowing the lights to work again, respecting the standard colors of the spells. Colors that are emitted right according to the color of the spell Yay!

Can you make a compatibility patch for Apocalypse or another Spells mod?
Yes, but it will take a while, because I'm trying to leave all the spells present in Vanilla emitting light, LIGHT EVERYWHERE YAY!
When I start working with Apocalypse and if the animations work correctly with the lights, it will be very easy, otherwise, I will have to change all the animations that are not working. I ask for patience and a little time.

Could you change the color of the shock spells to something closer to white?
I could make a patch for that yes, if there are requests for that.

Known Issues

All similar mods with light emission have a problem with indoors, spells only emit light when entering a dangeon for a while, until it no longer works and having to enter a room to work again, in some places they work normally not in others, but outdoor works 100%, without problems.

If the shadows are bothering me, I don't know if there is a way to remove it, I will try as much as possible to try to make the mod as pleasant as possible.

If the spells are not emitting light, make sure you have loaded the mod AFTER the other lighting mods, ELFX, ENB Light, ENB Particles, as these mods replace the corrected animations for the old ones that prevent the mod from working properly.

▪ Some spells may not emit light, please ask to report what spells you are using. (Vanilla spells)

Incompatibility

Maybe with the Apocalypse, Ordinator and Arcanum mods, because the new spells use Casting Art that were replaced to make the mod work, I would have to change all Casting Art of all spells that didn't work with the light emitted and well, Arcanum adds +200 spells, Apocalypse +150 and Ordinator some (this is the most viable for a patch). TOO MANY SPELLS XD
