It's kinda hard to explain what this mod does. If your Whiterun textures don't look a lot like your Sovngarde textures (I'm using Sovngarde HD and Vivid Landscapes - Whiterun, for example) several meshes in Sovngarde are gonna look weird and mismatched. Some combinations will obviously be worse than others. Mine's not intolerable but personally, I can't let little things like this go. The best solution is to just give the meshes their own unique texture path (textures\architecture\whiterun\sovslate02) and then pick a fitting texture set and rename it appropriately. What I personally did was take the wrslate02 and wrslate02_n from Skyland Whiterun and modify them to match the textures from Sovngarde HD. I would upload them but I don't have permission yet.

There are a lot of wrslate02 textures from various retextures to pick from. In theory you could use another texture entirely, I just wasn't able to find any that matched the exact pattern of steps. The ones from SMIM are a really good match for Sovngarde HD or the vanilla textures, btw. They just were a bit low res for my taste. Anyway once you find the ones you want just rename them to sovslate02.dds and sovslate02_n.dds and put them in textures\architecture\whiterun. If I can, I'll upload mine and you can use those, I adjusted the specular to better fit with sovngarde's really shiny stone and made the diffuse fit pretty perfectly, so that will probably be the best option if I get permission. But I'm uploading these now for other modders or more advanced players to use if they want to pick their own textures to use for sovslate02.

The meshes also include some minor UV and tangent space normal fixes. They don't conflict with any SMIM or other high poly mesh replacements as far as I know. Sovngarde is criminally underrepresented in mods, so that's not a huge surprise. I've included two dummy textures where the real ones are supposed to go just on the off chance that someone gets confused about where to put them. Plus the idea of using "dummy textures" is just humorous to me.
