吸血鬼的生活...

作为COTV中的吸血鬼不是在公园里散步,COTV旨在为玩家提供高度沉浸却直截了当的吸血鬼系统,该吸血鬼具有各种各样的优点和缺点,并且高度重视游戏的生存性。在扮演嗜血怪兽时最合适,在COTV中没有吸血鬼阶段,进食只是用来治愈您的亡灵的工具,最强大的吸血鬼甚至不需要进食。


如果您寻求简单但高度身临其境的吸血鬼体验,那就别无所求了,COTV拥有许多《天际》特别版吸血鬼mod中未包含的许多概念,包括无法安全侵入(这是“ Belua Sanguinare” mod的主要功能在天际传奇版上),甚至还有吸血鬼梦which,它们基于ES:III Morrowind和ES:IV Oblivion的相同概念,COTV还具有NPC支持和MCM菜单,允许您切换各种效果(需要SKSE)

Life as a Vampire...
Being a vampire in COTV isn't a walk in the park, COTV intends to provide the player with a highly immersive yet straight forward vampire system, the vampire has a large variety of strengths and weaknesses with a high level of emphasis on survival of the fittest when playing as a blood drinking monster, in COTV there are no vampire stages and feeding merely serves as a tool to heal your undead body with, the mightiest of vampires may not even need to feed.

If you seek a simple yet highly immersive vampire experience then look no further, COTV features many concepts not featured in any other vampire mod on the Skyrim Special Edition including the inability to safely trespass (Which was a major feature of the "Belua Sanguinare" mod on the Skyrim legendary Edition) There are even Vampire nightmares which are based upon the same concept from ES:III Morrowind and ES:IV Oblivion, COTV also features NPC Support and an MCM menu which allows you to toggle various effects (Requires SKSE)

Existence as a vampire in COTV can be tough as is the intention but the mods purpose is to get the feel of what it is like to be a creature of the night, you will be powerful but at a severe cost, you are undead and will live as befits the dead, you may struggle or triumph in your existence but perhaps you shall beable to conquer your vampiric state and become a true master of the darkness.





PROS to being a Vampire...  
These are positive effects gained simply by becoming a Vampire

The Vampire features an ageing system which lasts up to 40 days, such passive effects as Unholy Presence and Enhanced Stamina will become more potent the longer you remain as one of the Bloodsucking undead, In addition Supernatural Awareness allows the Vampire to detect nearby hostiles up to 200 feet away.

100% Disease Resistance

100% Poison Resistance

25% OR 50% Frost Resistance

25% OR 50% Physical Damage Resistance

25% OR 50% Falling Damage Resistance 

20% to 100% Faster Stamina Regeneration depending on how many days spent as a Vampire

10% to 50% Better Intimidation Chances depending on how many days spent as a Vampire

CONS to being a vampire...
These are negative effects gained simply by becoming a Vampire

When bathed in direct sunlight you take 5 Damage to Health per second you will be safe while swimming or when in shadows

While Trespassing you take 25 Damage to Stamina per second and become disoriented

Aedric Shrines will blind you on approach and you will be unable to receive their blessings

Health Regeneration is 100% Slower

Food and Healing Magic has no effect on you

Default Spells and Powers obtained by becoming a Vampire...
These are powers gained simply by becoming a Vampire

Vampiric Vision - Allows you to see in the dark 

Vampiric Seduction - Allows you to enthrall a non-hostile allowing you to feed

Vampire Bat Form - Transform into a swarm of Bats to appear some distance away

Vampiric Drain - Siphon 15 health per second from the target

Vampiric Reanimation - Reanimate the target for 60 seconds


Unlockable Lesser Powers obtained by drinking Vampire Blood...
These powers are unlocked by consuming Potent Blood from Slain Vampires (5% chance of dropping)

The Following Abilities have no magicka cost which benefits Melee oriented builds but each has a 20 second cooldown between uses, each ability only lasts for a short duration but can prove most effective when used correctly, each ability can be used in both Normal and Vampire Lord forms with the exception of Vampire Warform.

Immeasurable Strength - Increase unarmed damage, melee weapon damage, bash damage and carryweight 

Unnatural Celerity - Increase your movement speed drastically

Devouring Swarm - Surround yourself in a swarm of Vampire Bats that siphon health from enemies

Enhanced Perception - Focus your enhanced senses to perceive the world at 1/2 normal speed for 5 seconds.

Vampire Mist Form - Transforms yourself into a mist rendering you invulnerable however you do not regenerate

Vampire Warform - Transform yourself into a powerful Gargoyle


Perks obtained in Vampire Lord Form...
These are abilities gained from the Vampire Lord perk tree

Supernatural Endurance - Increases health by 50 points when in Vampire Lord form

Supernatural Agility - Increases stamina by 50 points when in Vampire Lord form

Supernatural Willpower - Increases Magicka by 50 points when in Vampire Lord form

Iron Will - Reduces the cost of Vampire Lord Blood Magic spells

Blood is the Life - Restores a large sum of health when biting enemies in Vampire Lord form

Vampiric Grip - Draw an enemy towards you and drains their lifeforce while they are close

Conjure Gargoyle - Summon a gargoyle to fight for you

Rigor Mortis - Cause paralysis to all enemies in the targeted area

Blood Ward - Create a ward that deflects incoming spell damage

Blood to Power - Trade your Health for Magicka at a rate of 15/15 per second

Sanguine Rune - Absorb 50 points of health from anyone who approaches the rune

Blood Magic Lord - Increases the damage of Vampire Lord Vampiric Drain by 0.5% per skill point in Destruction

Lord of Souls - Increases the magnitude of Vampire Lord Vampiric Reanimation by 0.5% per skill point in Conjuration

Vampiric Talons - Drain 5 points of health every second for 5 seconds from your Claw attacks

Wings of the Night - Allows the Vampire Lord to glide when sprinting (Do note the Vampire Lord is only immune to fall damage while levitating)
