This is not a mod
Don't you hate how Skyrim SE's grass still renders right before your eyes when you're exploring in the wilds? Yeah, it still wan't improved even in the 2016 edition. Well, that's what modders are for, right? With these simple steps, your grass will be extremely lush and extend far out. No more immersion breaking grass-that-appears-instantly.
Here are the steps you need to take for bootiful gwass...
In your Skyrim.ini:
Under the [Grass] section find 'iMinGrassSize='. If it is not there, simply add it in manually. Here is where your pc specs and preferences come in.
Overgrown grass (What I'm using in the screenshots) - High Performance Impact: Set iMinGrassSize= to iMinGrassSize=50
Lush grass - Medium Performance Impact: Set iMinGrassSize to iMinGrassSize=60
More grass - No/low Performance Impact: Set iMinGrassSize to iMinGrassSize=70
That's all! Now you have lusher grass.
In your SkyrimPrefs.ini:
Again, under the [Grass] section find fGrassStartFadeDistance= and fGrassMaxStartFadeDistance=. For maximum grass distance, set both of those lines to 14000.
Start up Skyrim SE and look at dat grass... damn.
Enjoy your lush grass!
