安装:

A small, lore-friendly, space-efficient player home.
Hearthfire Multiple Adoptions compatible.


  Bleakwood Cabin is a hunter's cabin and beginner player's home located between Riverwood and Whiterun, just off the path up to Bleak Falls Barrow. It features most crafting stations, a great deal of named and custom storage, and numerous displays, as well as beds for two adopted children should the player use Hearthfire Multiple Adoptions.

Please note that this is a new release. Report any bugs you may run into, and I will fix them asap!






The poor Nord hunter's Talos-worshipping has finally caught up to him. His cabin, though hidden deep in the forests beneath Bleak Falls Barrow, has finally been found by the Thalmor. Perhaps the dim light of his Talos shrine was seen from Whiterun, or maybe rumors were overheard. Whatever the case, he didn't go down without a fight. Fortunately for the new Dragonborn of Skyrim, he's left behind a nice, neat, cozy little home packed with features... and the Thalmor agent has left behind his horse.

Bleakwood Cabin is a cozy starter home packed with features, found outside of Riverwood, toward Whiterun. The home is SMALL, but holds many features, as seen below. However, in keeping with the small, starter and cozy theme, some features have been left out, as they simply don't fit the theme or the space. The home IS Hearthfire Multiple Adoptions compatible, however it only has two beds for children, and space is tight. I have done my best to make this as lore-friendly a home as possible, despite the fact that it's a free house. The interior should look like any friendly--if very crafting-area-efficient--Skyrim hunting cabin.

This home is meant to be a starter home for beginning characters: a place where you can store your things, live, even adopt children, but which most players will probably grow out of as the game goes on.


Features:

- Exterior stable with horse fast-travel marker; wood chopping block. A large number of idle markers and the like for children, their pets, and idling followers. Lots of pretty static clutter to make it feel more like a home.

- Crafting stations: Cooking Pot (can also cook Oven recipes), Alchemy & Enchanting tables, all Blacksmithing (smelter, anvil, skinning rack, grindstone and workbench) tables.

- Regular displays: 20 Weapon Racks (one on the exterior wall, looks good with a hunting bow hung out there), four Weapon Plaques, one Shield Plaque, four mannequins. There is one full-sized bookshelf, along with three smaller ones throughout the house (bedroom, office and alchemy/enchanting table).

- Custom displays: Dragon claws, Dragon Map, Elder Scrolls, and necklaces (all courtesy of MrDanSG1; see Credits for more), as well as some static storage displays listed below.

- Named storage: Bedroom - safe "Jewelry," strongbox "Gems," chest "Heavy Armor," chest "Light Armor," unnamed chest under the bed. Office has custom "Notes," "Journals" and "Keys" storage with their respective static models, as well as a "Scrolls" chest. Main room has "Uncooked Food" barrel, "Cooked Food" chest, and "Drinks" drinks crate. Basement's alchemy/enchanting area holds "Soul Gems" strongbox, "Alchemy Ingredients" knapsack, "Alchemy Recipes" satchel, "Poisons" and "Potions" chests. Blacksmithing area has "Hides and Bones" chest, "Raw Ore" barrel, "Ingots" chest, and "Leather" chest. 

- Custom storage: Basement general display area has custom displays for: "Archery Equipment" (static bows on a rack); "Two-Handed Weapons" (static two-handed weapons on a rack); "One-Handed Weapons" (static one-handed weapons in a large pot), and "Shields" (static shields in a crate over the Workbench). Please note that these appearances do not change based on what's stored within.

- Three small Hearthfire planters with a total of nine soil plots on shelves near the alchemy table. Please note: plant only SMALL plants here. They are not meant for wheat or other crops, and clearing them may be buggy, so I also suggest against particularly tall or bushy plants, or mushrooms (Mora Tapinella, Glowing Mushrooms etc) that grow on logs, as these will overlap the planters or even extend through upper shelves.

- Light rays within the interior that are active only during the day. I've also attempted to make rain audible inside when it's raining out (not fully tested).

- Thalmor horse with a unique model and saddle, as well as very slightly increased speed, across the river (and under/behind a large tree) from the dead Thalmor agent. If you wish, you can ignore or disable this horse (open console by pressing ~, select horse, and type disable). Alternatively, you can use it as your own. This horse is currently set to Essential.

- The cabin ALSO adds a single patrol of mounted Thalmor agents, riding the same custom black Thalmor horses. They are meant to be difficult to defeat; consider them a trade-off for the free home, as well another sign of the increased Thalmor Talos-worshipper-hunting activity that led to the prior owner's death. The agents will attack most Stormcloak NPCs they encounter. The horses are owned by the Thalmor agent, and thus, riding them is considered stealing. Note that the patrol is not fully tested--they WILL patrol while mounted, but I don't yet know how their respawns will interact with the horse riding. It won't interfere with anything else, though.




Features NOT included:


- Dragon Priest mask displays, Black Books displays, Thieves Guild displays, Paragon displays, Bug-in-jar displays, Spider enchanter, Staff enchanter, Daedric Artifacts displays, or anything else not listed here.



Hearthfire Multiple Adoptions:

This home is Multiple Adoptions friendly, and has room for two children, including a bunk bed and chests. They will use the bunk beds correctly the vast majority of the time, though I've seen them also share a bed once. They will also use idle markers and everything else that adopted children are meant to do, with the following exception: there seems to be a bug with engaging the children in games. If anyone does NOT have this issue, or can help me pinpoint it, please let me know. (Asking the child to play ex. hide and seek will result in the child agreeing, but then returning to whatever they were doing).





Location:

The cabin can be found by following the road from Whiterun toward Riverwood, and then taking the path up toward Bleak Falls Barrow. At the sharp curve left, when there's a stone cairn in front of you (before hitting the snowy area), just go off into the forest toward Whiterun. You should see the icon on the compass, if you have icons enabled, well beforehand; if not, just head toward Whiterun through the trees, angling left and keeping the mountains to your left. It isn't far at all, and overlooks Dragonsreach. See the photos section for maps.

Key and Horse Location:

The key is found on the unfortunate prior owner of the home. He's a Nord hunter lying dead in a charred stretch of road, surrounded by blood, between Riverwood and Whiterun (past the path that leads to Bleak Falls Barrow and Bleakwood Cabin). There's a dead Thalmor agent nearby, indicating the deadly struggle that transpired. The Hunter can be looted for the cabin key, and a note. Both corpses, and the blood etc. effects, will be disabled when the player enters Bleakwood for the first time.

The horse can be found standing behind and a bit under a big pine tree just across the river from the two dead bodies. Sometimes it is attacked, and will be seen defending itself upon arrival, making locating it a bit easier.






Installation:

Unpack the contents of the zipped folder with any unzipping program (WinRAR, 7Zip etc), and drag and drop them into your Skyrim's Data folder. It shouldn't ask to replace any folders; if it does just say "no" to that file. 


Known Issues:

- Books may, at first, float slightly above their bookshelves. This should resolve with subsequent saves/reloads. I left an empty space on the bookshelf in the office, next to the Talos shrine, so you can place whatever item you want here. The item may, however, float slightly (a couple in-game inches above the wood). I cannot resolve this.

- The Thalmor riders are NOT extensively tested, as stated. This isn't a known issue, as such; you WILL find them riding the correct patrol route--mostly northern and western Skyrim, though they do visit the Talos shrine just outside of Windhelm in their zealous search for heretics. However, their respawn mechanics and how that interacts with the horse-mounting was not tested. I will fix any issues that may eventually crop up with this.

- The children do not properly engage in hide-and-seek, as mentioned. They will accept the dialogue, then return to prior AI. It will not harm anything else. If anyone does NOT have this problem, or can aid me in pinpointing it, feel free to contact me.


Helpful Reminders:

- When placing moveable objects in your home--in any home--after you are satisfied with their placement, face the objects and save your game, then reload. This will prevent them from displacing at your next load. 

- Also, please remember that Hearthfire mannequins can and will bug, and duplicate armor, not allowing you to replace what's on them. This is NOT a bug with Bleakwood Cabin, but with Hearthfire as a whole. I would recommend not putting 'placeholder' low-level armor on a mannequin unless you don't mind it being there long-term... However, the following suggestion may work (untested).

To fix this, user Malac'ra at the following link has suggested the following steps if you wish to replace armor:

"For everyone else, this worked for me:

1. Take all duplicated armor off of mannequin. Leave the area and come back (I went in and out of the cellar for this).
2. Add a full set of unique enchanted armor (Thieves Guild, Nightingale, Shrouded Armor, etc.) and shield (such as Targe of the Blooded), leaving the duplicated armor in the mannequin's inventory. Enchanted gear should appear on the mannequin over top of the duplicated gear. Leave the area and come back.
3. The old duplicated gear should be on top again. Take everything out of the mannequin's inventory. Without leaving the mannequin inventory screen, add all the duplicated stuff and then all the enchanted armor IN THAT ORDER. The enchanted gear should be visible on the mannequin before leaving. Leave the area and come back.
4. The enchanted gear should still be on top. Take everything out of the mannequin's inventory. Go in and out of the inventory several times for good measure, then leave the area and go back.
5. Mannequin should now be naked and have nothing in the inventory. Supposedly it's done duplicating armor now."




Changes:

Version 1.2 - Ore and Raw Food barrels were RESPAWNING. Please remove all 
contents from these two barrels, exit the home, save, update, and 
reenter and replace the objects, to be safe.
