This mod adds human made wood beehives on some settlements, farms and open cities of Skyrim, and some on the wild, abandoned or not, and that act as destructible objects, and from where a swarm of bees will come in order to protect their house and attack you if you try do destroy the hive.
Regular bee-made hives on the vanilla game are not much affected, since they have small swarms, only the human made new ones have big enough swarms able to harm you if attacked first. But some vanilla hives, and of course the ones on Goldenglow State, have swarms big enough too, to attack you if harmed first.
Bees only will came out after you attack the hive, and you need to completely destroy the hive to make the swarm to stop to come from inside it to attack you. Unless attacked, Beehives are completely passive.
You can also use that possibility as a distraction on a city, since you can cause a swarm to attack a population, when you search for a specific target. Despite this, bees will rarely attack other animals, and can be controlled by Spriggans.
