Unfortunately, the mod Darker Nights by unforbidable appears to have been abandoned, as the mod has not been updated in months and the author hasn't been active since October 2018. Since I made a Darker Nights patch for my own mod Improved Rain and Fog for Cathedral Weathers, I figured I should make a patch for the default Cathedral Weathers as well.
Let me tell you, it wasn't easy. It would have been much too tedious to copy all the lighting values by hand, so I used the scripts that unforbidable provided to automate the patches. However, there is no documentation on these scripts, and I had to dig through tons of posts to get even a little bit of insight. Then, the program the scripts depended on was not available for SSE, and I had to install Visual Studio and compile the SSE version from source code. To save anyone else the headache, I provided a download of the scripts and compiled patcher.exe in case anyone ever wants to make their own.
