With Dragonborn Bethesda added the Telvanni Robes, a real ray of hope in the aesthetically underperforming clothing department. Sadly they are hard to obtain and the enchantments could be better.

This mod lets your character wear aesthetically pleasing attire by letting you craft an unenchanted version of the Telvanni Robes and Shoes and enabling you to enchant them any way you want within the vanilla enchanting system. If you play a pure mage you can instead craft Telvanni Archmagister Robes, which are already enchanted with the Archmage Robes enchantment (Skein of Magnus). To maintain maximum compatibility with perk overhauls and mods in general there are no perk restrictions to the crafting recipes. The mod only uses vanilla assets and does not change any vanilla items, perks or leveled lists. You also cannot disenchant the Archmagister Robes. Since the Archmage Robes enchantment does not increase your damage in any way, i don't see any balancing issues.

I know there are other mods that add Telvanni Robes in various ways, but they either change leveled lists, add custom meshes or are part of larger overhauls. This is my take for personal use.
