注意:如果您不想手动更改游戏文件夹,手动修改Creatioon Kit可执行文件,或手动创建您自己的特殊类型的mod包,那么请远离。


请将此修改视为高级用户的Mod。如果没有正确使用,它需要对/ Data文件夹添加一些可能会破坏游戏安装的内容。但是,它不需要对mod管理器进行任何添加,并且应该与NMM和MO2一起使用。


在单个Skyrim SE安装中,已使用Nexus Mod Manager成功测试了此Mod。如果报告并不总是有效,则作者可能会完全删除它。



描述


此Mod将允许安装需要将其文件放在游戏主文件夹中的mod包。这是通过在/ Data文件夹中手动创建指向其父目录(游戏目录)的新目录符号链接来实现的。目录符号链接是Windows上文件系统的一项功能,必须使用活动用户设置为管理员创建每个此类链接。


符号链接的目录名称已设置为:“game_dir_symlink_73guickx”。此名称使用一种随机选择的唯一标识符。建议不要使用不同的名称,但如果要更改它,则还需要在DLL文件中更改此名称。 DLL是一个修补CreationKit可执行文件的补丁,当安装此mod时,它会崩溃。如果稍后,则十六进制编辑DLL文件并正确地用您自己的名称替换“game_dir_symlink_73guickx”字符串,正确地终止它;或者在源代码中更改它并重新编译。



安装


确保备份了所有重要文件,这些文件可能会在下面描述的修改步骤中进行修改。


将批处理文件安装或解压缩到Skyrim SE / Data文件夹中。在“文件”部分下载文件名是“批处理文件”。

卸载

Attention: If you don't want to make manual changes to your game folder, manually patch Creatioon Kit executable, or manually create your own special type of mod packages, then please look away.

Please consider this modification as Mod for advanced users. It requires some additions to the /Data folder that can break your game installation if not used correctly. Howvever, it will not require doing any additions to the mod managers and should work with NMM and MO2.

This Mod has been tested successfully with Nexus Mod Manager on single Skyrim SE installation. In case of reports that it doesn't always work, it may get removed completely by the author.


Description

This Mod will enable installation of mod packages that require their files placed in the game main folder. This is achieved by manually creating a new directory symbolic link inside the /Data folder that points into its parent directory, the game directory. Directory symbolic link is a feature of the filesystem on Windows and every such link must be created with active user set as the administrator.

The directory name for the symlink has been set to: "game_dir_symlink_73guickx". This name uses a kind of unique identifier that has been chosen at random. Using different name is not recommended, but if you would like to change it then you need to change this name inside the DLL file as well. The DLL is a patch  that fixes the CreationKit executable that, in turn, crashes when this mod is installed. If later, then hex-edit the DLL file and correctly replace the "game_dir_symlink_73guickx" string with your own name, null terminationg it correctly; or change it in the source code and recompile.


Installation

Make sure you have all important files backed up that may get modified durning steps described below.

Install or unpack batch files into the Skyrim SE /Data folder. Download file name in the Files section is "Batch Files".

Go to your /Data folder and run batch file "gfmie_01_mklink.bat" as the administrator (Right click and select "Run as administrator"). This creates the directory symbolic link. If you don't install batch files,  start CMD command line tool as the administrator and run this command there:

MKLINK /D ".\game_dir_symlink_73guickx" "..\"

You can delete or uninstall both batch files afterwards.

Verify that the directory symbolic link has been created correctly. In your /Data folder check that you have folder named  "game_dir_symlink_73guickx" and that it is indeed directory symbolic link.

If you don't have Creation Kit installed, or not planning using it, then skip steps below that describe how to patch it.

Start your Creation Kit and observe how it crashes - before opening its main window. If it didn't crash, instead, you may consider skipping patching that is described below.

Install or unpack "creationkit_sc_fix.dll" into the game folder, for CreationKit executable to use it. Download name in the Files section is "CreationKit Symlink Crash Fix DLL". This is a patch for the CreationKit executable that prevents it from crashing when the /Data directory has that dir symlink in it.

Backup your CreationKit.exe file.

Add "creationkit_sc_fix.dll" into the CreationKit.exe import table. Use your own DLL injector or follow the steps shown here. Program used is CFF Explorer VII and can be downloaded here. NOTE: in case of CreationKit officaial update, this step will need to be repeated.

Done. Installing files using special archives into tha game folder should now be possible.




Uninstallation

Note: after you remove this mod, all the other special mods installed using mod manager, when it was enabled, will not uninstall correctly.

Go to your /Data folder and remove "game_dir_symlink_73guickx" directory symbolic link. you can also use provided "gfmie_02_remove.bat" batch file to do this.

If CreationKit.exe has been patched, then restore your backup, or unpach it using CFF Explorer VII.

Delete "creationkit_sc_fix.dll" file.


Special Mod Archives

Once this Mod has been installed, these are going to be archives that have all files - that need to be put into the game folder - stored under the "/Data/game_dir_symlink_73guickx" sub-directory.

For example, if you want to put two files, "enblocal.ini" and "enbseries.ini", into the game folder, create following directory structure on your disk somewhere: "/Data/game_dir_symlink_73guickx", then copy both files into it. When done copying, archivize it as a 7-zip or Zip file, starting at the top /Data directory. Once created, installing it with the mod manager will put that both files into the game folder in turn. To distinguish them from normal mods, consider special names, like dual file extension,, ".slnk.7z" or ".slnk.zip".
