什么是Wanngarnanngin？

What is Wanngarnanngin?

This mod adds Wanngarnanngin -- a simple lore-friendly house near Winterhold that becomes available for purchase after the player becomes Thane of Winterhold. It is based on the Jarl's Longhouse with updated textures and a proper cellar, which holds a mystery of its own (one that is is going to be explored in later versions of the mod).

There's also a fully voiced NPC who some of you Morrowind players out there may be familiar with. He's going to help you along the way decorating your new home, moving your family to Winterhold, hiring servants and just being a pal in general.

Wanngarnanngin also acknowledges your achievements throughout the game by adding certain interior elements, which correspond with the great deeds you have accomplished.

There are multiple displays, mannequins, chests, a forge with it's own smith, alchemical and enchanting stations, a bard, a carriage (horse and driver included), etc. -- all that you come to expect from a house mod in 2019.

The interior and exterior are fully navmeshed, so your family members, followers and NPCs aren't going to have any trouble moving around.

Is it going to work with all of my other mods?

Well, since it uses some of the area near Winterhold it will definitely cause some troubles, if you are using Great Cities: Winterhold.

How do I move my family to Winterhold again?

The system is a bit convoluted. It is made that way in order to work within the vanilla/Hearthfire adooption framework. Dondos Driler (the new NPC and your assistant) will provide you with all the necessary info on how to bring your family to Winterhold in a -- again -- lore friendly way.
That being said, let's go over it right here right now.

Prerequisites:
Purchase all the furniture available for Wanngarnanngin from Dondos Driler.
Get married and adopt a kid or two.
Build Heljarchen Hall and move your family into it.

After you've done all that, talk to Dondos and ask him to move your family to Winterhold.

And that's it.
After your family has been moved, your spouse gets a couple of AI Packages to behave accrodingly in the new environment.
You can talk to your spouse again and relocate them to any other house you own and you can also bring them back to Wanngarnanngin later if you so desire.

I've never installed any mods, how do I do that?

Just place the contents of the archive into: ...\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data
