One of the things Bethesda does extremely well is environmental storytelling. Basically the idea is coming across a corpse or some odd sight in the vast open world and using the clues given to you by the surrounding area to piece together the story. I myself find this to be the 1 thing Bethesda does better than almost any game developer. I, fancying myself to be an amateur storyteller myself decided I would try my hand at this medium of storytelling. I have placed a number of scenes throughout Skyrim. Some tragic, some silly and some references to other media and even some friends of mine from the modding community. Can you find them all?
Future plans
-Keep implementing more. The goal is to hit 100 new additions, this goal is unlikely to be reached as I will either run out of ideas or run out of places to put them into the world. Skyrim is vast but it is still finite. I will post an update every 10 additions with 100 additions marking Version 1.0.
-Ever improve the cluttering of the already implemented scenes.
-Maybe, MAYBE, look at doing Solstheim. I'd also like to do Falskaar and other new lands mods, though I'll be honest I'm a bit lazy.
FAQ
Q: Why is everyone dead?
A: Due to the medium in which these stories are told it's fairly difficult to have a living person. That said, there are 2 living npcs added by this mod. Well, one and a half I guess?
Q: Can you make a patch for X mod?
A: Probably yes. I don't use a lot of mods myself so compatibility isn't tested, though I have a list of mod that I have concerns about. In the event you find an issue do say something in the posts tab. At worst you will have clipping objects, nothing that will CTD or break saves.
Q: Can she bobs open?
A: Yes, but only with the help of certain mods.
Q: Some new objects from your mod pop in to existence when I get close to them.
A: Yes this happens as these objects don't have LOD generated for them. Run SSELODGen or Dyndolod if this bothers you.
Q: LE version.
A: It's not hard at all to do it yourself.
Compatibility Concerns
Here is a list of mods that (MAY) have issues with mine, though I'm doubtful there are any problems, I'm just being over cautious. I will confirm over time whether they are or not, again at worst you have clipping objects as this mod has no scripts or anything like that.
