BedFurCovers.nif

脚本JEB_BedCoversScript.psc

Have you heard that line from guards that work at night... "Just a few more hours and I can crawl under some furs..."
Well now they actually can...
This is a simple example mod with mesh and script to allow bed furs to be enabled when the bed is activated and in-use.
There are two meshes included ...
BedFurCovers.nif
- is a Static cow hide with texture to match guards bed. This did not work for the guard's single beds - they are too small. See images the cow hide with it's normal texture worked well for the big double bed in my Room mod.
BedFurCovers02.nif
- is actually a Werewolf Pelt. The texture is changed to the pelt on the guard's bed. That texture doesn't have the correct alphas whereas the werewolf texture does and shows a hairy pelt. The effect I think looks ok as it looks like layers of furs.
The shape of those meshes is the main reason to use them. They have bulge and curve to go over a body lying in bed. It is not perfect so if you want to improve on them please do!
The script JEB_BedCoversScript.psc
- Attached to the bed reference with the cover filled as a property, will enable the cover when the bed is activated. When the bed is no longer in-use the cover is disabled.
- the covers need to be marked as Initially Disabled.
- For single beds the cover needs to fill the LeftCover property. Left is assigned to 'Side 0' (Right is 'Side 1') Check the bed's base record to make sure which side it is using. Start with left and if it doesn't work try right.
- For Double beds fill the Left and Right covers accordingly. If it needs to be switched, do so.
